We are pleased to welcome Johanne Gnagne to the Board of Directors of the Canadian International Professionals Association.
Johanne is the Founder & CEO of Klaman & Co, a San Diego-based organization focused on using culture as infrastructure for economic and social connection. Through Klaman & Co, she develops programs and partnerships that foster greater understanding of Africa and its global diaspora while creating opportunities for leadership, entrepreneurship, cultural exchange, and collaboration across U.S., Canadian, and African markets.
She previously spent more than a decade at UC San Diego Health Sciences International, where she served as Senior Program Manager for Global Initiatives, leading international education programs, strategic partnerships, and complex initiatives spanning multiple countries and institutions.
Deeply engaged in the San Diego community, Johanne serves on the San Diego International Affairs Board, appointed by Mayor Todd Gloria, where she contributes to conversations around San Diego's global relationships and international engagement.
Born in Montreal and raised in Côte d'Ivoire, Johanne holds a Master of Science in International Business from Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor's degree from Université du Québec à Montréal.
"Johanne's combination of international business experience, community building, and cross-cultural perspective makes her an exceptional addition to CIPA's leadership as we continue building a community that supports Canadian professionals wherever their work takes them."
