The Canadian International Professionals Association (CIPA) is a global, member-led community connecting Canadians and Canada-connected individuals at home and around the world.
Our members believe Canada's strength extends far beyond its geography. They include founders, operators, executives, advisors, technologists, creators, service providers, and students, and they shape the community directly: CIPA is built to be participatory, with members leading committees, chapters, and events.
CIPA is a nonprofit association governed by a volunteer Board of Directors serving staggered terms. No director or officer is compensated. Meet our Board of Directors.
CIPA exists for individual professional growth: the connections, knowledge, and community that help Canadians thrive wherever they work. We are not a trade council or a dealmaking body. Where our members' interests overlap with trade and investment, we partner with organizations built for that purpose rather than becoming one.
CIPA brings people together across professional, cultural, and geographic boundaries.
CIPA committees are administrative and advisory, providing structure and continuity while remaining flexible and member driven.
